Finally more bikes!

So we had a few forks, a few frames to make upon returning from Peru. Here are some random shots of said projects. I've been really bad about documenting my work but I'm trying to reform... more process in future posts I promise.

Some sneek peek shots of my next personal build...

Lindsey's first frame back from powdercoating! Henry James lugs, straight bladed fork, Kaisei tubes, oh and it's built for 650s...

Henry James lugs carved with a little help from the lug vise...

SS fork, post braze...

Dirty, dirty workbench...

Finally some new picturals.

Second blog in three months I know, pathetic. Must... post... self indulgent... things on ...internets...

Anyway, as you may or may not know, I'm not the only one building bicycles in my house. I'd like to introduce the better half of Nash Cycles: My best girl Lindsey.

That's her in Peru. We were there in July for two weeks, with both of our mothers and my cousin. That may sound like a nightmare to some, but truly a great time was had by all. If I said Peru is a beautiful country it would be a gross understatement. I've been to mountains in Mexico, Switzerland, and Colorado, but the Andes take the pastel.

That particular shot was taken at the top of Huayna Picchu a further 1 & 1/2 hour hike from Machu Picchu.

Here's Lindsey trying to scare the llamas.

They are not amused.

Now to the opposite climate zone we visited in Peru: la selva.

Parrots at a mineral rich clay lick.

The hammock room at our lodge.

Inside our room.

A giant weasel relative (can't recall the name) stealing some bananas.

Unfortunately my camera promptly ate all of my batteries, and it's difficult to acquire new ones when you're 8 hours from civilization via boat. I'll try and post some of the JAGUAR we saw soon...

Next up, bike related stuff.
